FOR THE BANANA TOPPING
1/2 cup butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg fresh ground
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cardamom
1 tablespoon dark rum
Honey to sweeten
1 cup bananas sliced about 1/2-inch thick (2 bananas)
Juice from 1/2 lemon
FOR THE WHIPPED CREAM:
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
